• 3 1/2 c bread flour
• 2 1/2 tsps active dry yeast
• 3 tbsps white sugar
• 1 tsp salt
• 1/8 c water
• 3 tbsps shortening
• 1 c milk
• 1/2 c cornmeal
• 1 egg

• Step #1 Place the ingredients in the bread machine pan in the order suggested by the manufacturer.
• Step #2 Select the Basic or White Bread setting, & start the machine.
• Step #3 Transfer the bread from the pan to a rack to cool.
• Step #4 Wrap in foil to store.
• Step #5 .
