Stroganoff Recipe

Ingredients
  • 8 oz sliced mushrooms .
  • 2 tbsps cooking sherry .
  • 2/3 c fat free sour cream .
  • 1 c sliced onions .
  • 2 c textured vegetable protein (morningstar farms all- vegetable protein crumbles) .
  • 1 (10 1/2 oz) can fat-free cream of mushroom soup (undiluted) .
  • 1/4 c soy milk lite .
  • cooking spray .
  • 1/2 tsp pepper .
  • 1/2 tsp thyme .
  • 12 oz egg noodles .
  • 1/4 tsp salt .
  • 2 tsps worcestershire sauce .
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

Directions
  • Step #1 cook egg noodles according to package directions & set aside.
  • Step #2 saute mushrooms & onions for 5 mins in pan coated liberally with cooking spray.
  • Step #3 add veggie crumbles & saute for 4 mins.
  • Step #4 stir in the soup & the next 6 ingredients & let simmer over med.
  • Step #5 heat for 5 min remove this from heat, stir in the milk & sour cream.
  • Step #6 let sit for a couple of mins & serve over warm egg noodles.
