Squash Casserole Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/4 c granulated sugar .
  • 1 c cheddar cheese (grated) .
  • 1/4 c butter .
  • 2 lbs yellow squash (cut into chunks) .
  • 2 eggs .
  • 1/2 c milk .
  • 1/2 c onions (sliced)

Directions
  • Step #1 In a saucpan over med-heat/flame cook squash with butter, onion & sugar until tender(do not add water, it will create enough to cook).
  • Step #2 If excessive water in squash drain it off; let cool.
  • Step #3 When cooled, add egg/milk mixture & salt & pepper to taste.
  • Step #4 Place squash mixture in at 8x8 or similar casserole dish.
  • Step #5 Cover up with cheese & bake this at 375 degrees for 45 mins to 1 hr.
