Cuban Mango Mousse Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 1/2 tbsps honey
  • 2 medium mangoes, peeled & cubed
  • 2 egg whites
  • 1 1/4 c heavy cream
  • 2 tbsps fresh lime juice

Directions
  • Step #1 Puree the mangoes, honey, & lime juice in a mixer or food processor/blender until smooth.
  • Step #2 Whip the heavy cream to soft peaks, & fold into the mango puree.
  • Step #3 Beat egg whites in a clean dry bowl until stiff, then stir half into the mango mixture.
  • Step #4 When well mixed, carefully fold the remaining egg white into the mousse until no streaks remain.
