Double Quick Dinner Rolls Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 1/4 tsps active dry yeast
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 c warm water (110 degrees F/45 degrees C)
  • 2 tbsps vegetable oil
  • 2 tbsps white sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 2 1/4 c all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 c dry potato flakes

Directions
  • Step #1 In a large bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water.
  • Step #2 Add potato flakes, onion powder, sugar, egg, salt, vegetable oil, & 1c of the flour.
  • Step #3 Beat until smooth.
  • Step #4 Stir in remaining flour.
  • Step #5 Continue stirring until smooth, scraping batter from sides of bowl.
  • Step #6 Cover & let dough rise in warm place until doubled, about 20 to 30 mins.
  • Step #7 Preheat oven to 400F degrees F (200 degrees C).
  • Step #8 Lightly grease 12 muffin c.
  • Step #9 Punch down dough.
  • Step #10 Spoon dough into 12 greased muffin c, filling each half full.
  • Step #11 Let rise until batter reaches tops of c, or about 20 mins.
  • Step #12 Bake in a preheated 400F degree F(200 degrees C) for 15 mins.
  • Step #13 Serve as soon as possible.
