Ingredients
  • 1/3 c tahini .
  • 1 tbsp dried oregano .
  • 1 tsp dried parsley .
  • 1/4 c extra-virgin olive oil .
  • salt & black pepper, to taste .
  • 1 (12 oz) can chickpeas .
  • 1 tsp dried sweet basil leaves .
  • 1/4 c lemon juice .
  • 2 heads garlic

Directions
  • Step #1 Preheat oven to 150 degrees Celsius.
  • Step #2 Peel off outer skin of garlic heads, but not individual cloves.
  • Step #3 Place garlic heads on aluminium foil wrap & wrap to enclose.
  • Step #4 Place on baking tray & roast for 1 hr 15 min.
  • Step #5 Allow to cool.
  • Step #6 Place all ingredients (including cooled garlic) in food processor/blender & process until smooth.
  • Step #7 Serve as soon as possible or store this in airtight container for up to a week.
