Corn Cornbread Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 tbsps applesauce
  • 1 tbsp white sugar
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 c self-rising cornmeal
  • 1 (15 oz) can whole kernel corn, drained
  • 1/4 c butter, melted
  • 1 c sour cream

Directions
  • Step #1 Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  • Step #2 Grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
  • Step #3 In a large bowl, mix together corn, sour cream, eggs & melted butter.
  • Step #4 Gradually stir in the the cornmeal, sugar & applesauce.
  • Step #5 Pour into the prepared pan.
  • Step #6 Bake at 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) for 25 mins, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the loaf comes out clean.
