Anzacs Recipe

Ingredients
  • 50 ml water, cooking .
  • 150 g butter .
  • 3/4 c coconut flakes .
  • 1 c oatmeal .
  • 225 g sugar .
  • 1 1/2 tsps baking soda .
  • 150 g flour .
  • 50 ml golden syrup

Directions
  • Step #1 Preheat the oven at 150 °C.
  • Step #2 Put the oatmeal, sifted flour, sugar & coconut in a big bowl.
  • Step #3 Melt butter & golden syrup in a pan.
  • Step #4 Mix cooking water & baking soda, mix it with the butter mix & pour over the flour mix.
  • Step #5 Mix well.
  • Step #6 Make little heaps of dough with two tsps on a greased baking tin, leaving enough space between them, as they will get pretty thin.
  • Step #7 Bake for 15-20 mins.
  • Step #8 Remove the cookies from the baking tin right after removing them from the oven.
