Kahlua Cheesecake Recipe

Ingredients
  • 3/4 c sugar .
  • 1 (8 oz) container sour cream .
  • 3/4 c Bisquick, original .
  • 1 tsp vanilla .
  • 2 tbsps powdered sugar .
  • 3 eggs .
  • Chocolate Topping .
  • Base .
  • 2 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened .
  • 3 semi-sweet chocolate baking squares, melted & cooled .
  • 1 tbsp Kahlua, if desired .
  • 1 semi-sweet chocolate baking square, melted & cooled .
  • 1 tbsp freeze dried instant coffee .
  • 1 tsp vanilla .
  • 3 tbsps Kahlua

Directions
  • Step #1 Heat oven to 350.
  • Step #2 Grease 9 X 1 1/2" pie plate.
  • Step #3 Dissolve coffee in Kahlua.
  • Step #4 Beat with remaining base ingredients on high speed 2 mins, scraping the bowl frequently.
  • Step #5 Pour into pie plate.
  • Step #6 Bake about 35 mins or until center is firm & puffed.
  • Step #7 Cool 5 mins (top will be cracked).
  • Step #8 Mix Chocolate Topping: chocolate, powdered sugar, & Kahlua.
  • Step #9 Stir in sour cream & vanilla.
  • Step #10 Spread Chocolate Topping carefully over cheesecake.
  • Step #11 Refrigerate at least 3 hrs.
