Ingredients
  • 1 egg, slightly beaten .
  • 1/2 tsp salt .
  • 1/3 c sugar .
  • 3/4 c milk .
  • 3 tbsps oil .
  • 3 tsps baking powder .
  • 2 c sifted flour

Directions
  • Step #1 Sift together dry ingredients.
  • Step #2 Mix together wet ingredients & incorporate into dry.
  • Step #3 Stir until smooth.
  • Step #4 Drop by tspfuls(no bigger) into hot oil (365 degrees, no hotter), turning after a few moments until golden brown on all sides.
  • Step #5 Remove & drain.
  • Step #6 Roll in cinnamon sugar while still warm & serve.
