Gingerbread Bars Recipe

Ingredients
  • 4 1/2 c sifted confectioners' sugar .
  • 1 large egg .
  • 1 (8 oz) package soft cream cheese .
  • 1/2 c butter or margarine, melted .
  • 2 large eggs .
  • 1 (14 1/2 oz) package gingerbread cake mix

Directions
  • Step #1 Preheat overn to 350°.
  • Step #2 In a medium bowl, mix cake mix, butter & 1 egg.
  • Step #3 Spread evenly into 2 greased 8" square pans.
  • Step #4 Combine cream cheese, 2 eggs & sugar in medium bowl.
  • Step #5 Spread evenly over cake in both pans.
  • Step #6 Bake 3-35 mins till light brown.
  • Step #7 Cool completely in pans.
  • Step #8 cut into 1 x 2" bars.
  • Step #9 Store in airtight container.
