• 1/8 tsp salt .
• 1 c flour .
• 2 tsps grated lemon peel .
• 1/4 c lemon juice .
• 1 3/4 c hot water .
• 2 tsps baking powder .
• 2 tbsps oil .
• 1/2 c milk .
• 3/4 c sugar .
• 1/2 c sugar

• Step #1 Measure first 7 ingredients into a bowl.
• Step #2 Mix well.
• Step #3 Turn into greased 3 1/2 qt slow cooker (aka crockpot).
• Step #4 Stir hot water, lemon juice & second amount of sugar together in seperate bowl.
• Step #5 Pour carefully over batter.
• Step #6 Do not stir.
• Step #7 Place 5 paper towels between top of slow cooker (aka crockpot) & lid.
• Step #8 Cook on high for about 2 hrs till toothpick inserted comes out clean.
