Norwegian Flat Bread Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 c cornmeal .
  • 2 c white flour .
  • 2 tbsps lard, level .
  • cold water

Directions
  • Step #1 Mix corn meal, flour, & lard together & add enough cold water to hold together like a pie crust.
  • Step #2 Roll out very thin with grooven rolling pin & bake slowly on an ungreased electric griddle, or in a moderate oven, 325F to 350 degrees.
  • Step #3 Watch closely.
  • Step #4 When it begins to get a light golden brown, turn & bake on other side.
  • Step #5 Let dry out completely before putting into a container.
  • Step #6 Keep in a dry place.
