Ingredients
  • 1/4 c evaporated milk
  • 1 tbsp cornmeal
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 (9 inch) unbaked pie shell
  • 2 c white sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 c butter
  • 1 tbsp distilled white vinegar

Directions
  • Step #1 Preheat the oven to 425F degrees F (220 degrees C).
  • Step #2 In a large bowl, mix the butter, sugar & vanilla together.
  • Step #3 Mix in the eggs, then stir in the the cornmeal, evaporated milk & vinegar until smooth.
  • Step #4 Bake for 10 mins in the preheated oven, then reduce heat to 300F degrees F (150 degrees C) for 40 mins.
  • Step #5 Let cool.
  • Step #6 Cut & top servings with whipped cream.
  • Step #7 You will think you have died & gone to heaven.
