Ingredients
  • 1/2 c creamy peanut butter .
  • 1 tsp vanilla .
  • 2 c sugar .
  • 1/2 c evaporated milk .
  • 24 saltine crackers, finely crushed

Directions
  • Step #1 Combine sugar & evaporated milk in a medium saucepan & bring to a boil.
  • Step #2 (stir constantly to prevent scorching).
  • Step #3 Remove from heat; add peanut butter & vanilla.
  • Step #4 Mix well.
  • Step #5 Add crushed crackers & toss lightly to mix.
  • Step #6 Allow mixture to stand for 15 mins.
  • Step #7 Drop mixture by small tsp onto waxed paper.
  • Step #8 Allow candies to firm before serving.
