Castle Pudding Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 tbsp hot water .
  • 1 tbsp milk .
  • 4 tbsps brown sugar .
  • 1/2 c self raising flour .
  • 3 tsps cocoa .
  • 1 egg .
  • 1/4 c vanilla essence .
  • 4 tbsps butter

Directions
  • Step #1 Grease 5 personal sized ramekins (the little ones).
  • Step #2 Cream the butter & sugar together, then beat in the egg & fold in the flour & milk, mixing well.
  • Step #3 Spoon 1 tbsp of the mixture into each ramekin & add the cocoa, vanilla (yes, 1/4 CUP of vanilla) & hot water to the remaining mixture.
  • Step #4 Top up each ramekin & swirl the two mixtures together with a spoon.
  • Step #5 Place around the edge of a microwave carousel & microwave on MEDIUM for 4-6 mins.
  • Step #6 Careful! The ramekins are HOT.
  • Step #7 Allow to stand 1-2 mins prior to serving.
  • Step #8 Turn over onto a plate.
  • Step #9 They should drop out with a little bit of tapping.
