Cornbread Stuffing With Sausage Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 lb ground sausage
  • 2 3/4 c chicken broth
  • 1 tsp sage
  • 2 large onions, sliced
  • 5 c seasoned bread crumbs
  • 1 1/2 tsps poultry seasoning
  • 2 c sliced celery
  • 5 c crumbled cornbread

Directions
  • Step #1 Preheat oven to 325F degrees F (165 degrees C).
  • Step #2 Place sausage, celery & onions in a large, deep skillet.
  • Step #3 Cook over medium high heat until evenly brown.
  • Step #4 Drain, crumble & set aside.
  • Step #5 In a large bowl mix sausage mixture with cornbread, chicken broth, bread crumbs, poultry seasoning & sage.
  • Step #6 Mix well & transfer to a 9x12 inch baking dish.
  • Step #7 Bake, covered, for 45 mins or until well set & cooked through.
