Beef Bourguignonne Recipe

Ingredients
  • pepper .
  • 1 (2 oz) package lipton beefy onion soup mix .
  • garlic .
  • 1 c fresh sliced mushrooms .
  • 1/2 c dry red wine .
  • 2 lbs boneless beef chuck, cut into 1 inch cubes .
  • 1/4 c flour .
  • 1 (14 1/2 oz) can sliced tomatoes (I use Contadina Diced with Roasted Garlic) .
  • 1 bay leaf .
  • 1 1/3 c sliced carrots .
  • 1 (8 oz) package egg noodles .
  • salt

Directions
  • Step #1 Preheat ovet to 400.
  • Step #2 In a 2 quart casserole, toss beef with flour.
  • Step #3 Bake uncovered for 20 mins.
  • Step #4 Add carrots, undrained tomatoes, pepper, salt, garlic & bay leaf Mix the onion soup with the wine & add to casserole.
  • Step #5 Bake covered for 1 1/2 hrs.
  • Step #6 Add mushrooms & bake an extra 10 mins.
