Pizza Spirals Oamc Recipe

Ingredients
  • 8 tsps pizza sauce or spaghetti sauce .
  • 1 1/2 c shredded lowfat mozzarella cheese .
  • any other fillings .
  • 2 tsps oregano .
  • 1 (8 oz) package put in the fridged crescent dinner rolls .
  • 3/4 c sliced low-fat pepperoni .
  • 5 tsps warmed low-fat cream cheese .
  • 1 tsp sliced garlic .
  • mushrooms or bell peppers or ground beef, etc, to taste

Directions
  • Step #1 Preheat oven to 375.
  • Step #2 Unroll dough into 4 long rectangles.
  • Step #3 Press diagonal perforations firmly to seal.
  • Step #4 Spread warmed cream cheese evenly on dough.
  • Step #5 Spread Pizza sauce evenly on top of cream cheese.
  • Step #6 Add oregeno & garlic spreading evenly over all.
  • Step #7 Sprinkle top sliced pepperoni over all.
  • Step #8 Add any extra ingredients you would like.
  • Step #9 Sprinkle top with mozzarella cheese.
  • Step #10 Roll up each rectangle starting at the shortest side, press & seal firmly.
  • Step #11 Cut each of the 4 rolls into 5 slices to make 20 slices.
  • Step #12 Spray cookie sheet or muffin tins with non-stick cooking spray.
  • Step #13 Place cut side down on sprayed cookie sheet or muffin tins.
  • Step #14 Careful, they can be sticky! Bake 15-20 mins or until golden brown.
  • Step #15 Remove from cookie sheet.
  • Step #16 Can be served warm or cooled & placed in the freezer.
