Beef Satay Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 tbsps sliced palm sugar or firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 lbs boned beef top sirloin, fat-trimmed
  • 1/4 c spice paste

Directions
  • Step #1 Cut meat into 3/4-inch chunks.
  • Step #2 Mix spice paste & sugar.
  • Step #3 Coat meat with mixture.
  • Step #4 Thread meat equally onto skewers.
  • Step #5 Lay skewers on a lightly oiled grill over hot coals or high heat on a gas grill (you can hold your hand at grill level only 2 to 3 seconds) & cook, turning to brown on all sides, 6 to 8 mins.
  • Step #6 Serve hot or at about room temp.
