Corn Chili Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 lb frozen corn kernels
  • 1 1/2 c tomato sauce
  • 2 tbsps vegetable oil
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 (14.5 oz) cans Mexican-style stewed tomatoes
  • 1 (15 oz) can kidney beans, drained
  • 1 c water
  • 1 tsp ground cayenne pepper
  • 2 tbsps tomato paste
  • 2 tsps dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
  • 2 tsps chicken bouillon granules
  • 1 (15 oz) can pinto beans, drained

Directions
  • Step #1 In a large pot, cook onion in oil over med-heat/flame 1 min.
  • Step #2 Stir in cayenne & oregano & cook 1 min more.
  • Step #3 Stir in corn, pinto beans, water, salt, kidney beans, chicken bouillon granules, tomatoes, pepper, tomato sauce & tomato paste.
  • Step #4 Cook, until heated through & slightly thickened, uncovered, 10 to 15 mins.
