Ingredients
  • 1 (15-oz) can chickpeas, rinsed & drained
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 c water
  • 1/4 c fresh lemon juice
  • 1/3 c tahini*
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced

Directions
  • Step #1 Process chickpeas in a food processor/blender until smooth, stopping to scrape down sides.
  • Step #2 Add garlic & remaining ingredients; pulse until mixed.
  • Step #3 *Tahini is sesame seed paste, found in the import sections of large supermarkets or in health food stores.
