Mexico Nuts Recipe

Ingredients
  • 3/4 c powdered sugar
  • 1/4 tsp ground cloves
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 c pecan halves
  • 1 egg white
  • 1/4 tsp ground red pepper
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  •  Vegetable cooking spray
  • 2 tbsps cold water
  • 1/4 tsp ground allspice
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch

Directions
  • Step #1 Combine first 7 ingredients.
  • Step #2 Whisk egg white lightly; add 2 tbsps water, whisking mixture until mixed.
  • Step #3 Dip pecan halves into egg white mixture.
  • Step #4 Drain well with a slotted spoon.
  • Step #5 Dredge in sugar mixture.
  • Step #6 Place nuts in a single layer on a baking sheet coated with cooking spray.
  • Step #7 Bake at 250° for 1 1/2 hrs.
