Spinach-ham Dip Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 (8-oz) package Neufchâtel cheese, softened
  • 2 tbsps grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 (8-oz) carton plain nonfat yogurt
  • 1 1/4 c sliced Maple-Glazed Ham (about 6 oz)
  • 1 (10-oz) package frozen sliced spinach, thawed, drained, & squeezed dry
  • 1/2 c nonfat sour cream
  • 1 (2-oz) jar sliced pimento, drained
  • 2 (1-lb) unsliced round loaves French or sourdough bread

Directions
  • Step #1 Slice off top fourth of loaves, using a large serrated knife.
  • Step #2 Hollow out bottom pieces, leaving a 1-inch-thick shell; reserve remaining bread.
  • Step #3 Place "bread bowls" on a baking sheet, & bake this at 375° for 10 mins or until dry.
  • Step #4 Cut all reserved bread into bite-size pieces; place on a baking sheet, & bake this at 375° for 10 mins or until dry.
  • Step #5 Combine sour cream, yogurt, Neufcha@Gtel cheese, & garlic powder in a bowl; beat at medium speed of a mixer until smooth.
  • Step #6 Stir in ham, spinach, & pimento.
  • Step #7 Divide mixture between the bread bowls, & sprinkle Parmesan cheese over spinach mixture.
  • Step #8 Bake at 375° for 30 mins or until thoroughly heated.
  • Step #9 Serve warm with reserved bread.
