  • Step #1 Drain 1 can (15 1/2 oz.
  • Step #2 ) garbanzos, reserving liquid.
  • Step #3 In a mixer or food processor/blender, 3 tbsps tahini (sesame paste), whirl garbanzos, 1 peeled clove garlic, 1 tbsp lemon juice, 2 tbsps olive oil, & 1 tsp ground cumin until smooth.
  • Step #4 Thin with a few tbsps reserved liquid if desired.
  • Step #5 Add salt & pepper to taste.
