Cane Pole Kabobs Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 c barbecue sauce
  • 1 (16-oz.) jar marinated cherry peppers, drained
  • 13 (12-inch) wooden or metal skewers
  • 1 (16-oz.) package smoked sausage, cut into 2-inch pieces
  • 2 medium-size sweet onions, quartered

Directions
  • Step #1 Soak wooden skewers in water 30 mins to prevent burning.
  • Step #2 Thread sausage, peppers, & onion quarters evenly onto skewers.
  • Step #3 Grill, covered with grill lid, over med-heat/flame (300° to 350°) 4 to 6 mins or until sausage is lightly browned.
  • Step #4 Turn & grill 3 more mins; brush with barbecue sauce, & grill 2 more mins.
  • Step #5 Serve with extra barbecue sauce, if desired.
