Easy Diy Salsa Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 tsps fresh lime juice
  • 3 tbsps fresh cilantro, sliced
  • 2 tsps jalapeno (remove seeds for less heat), minced
  • 1/4 c white onion, sliced
  • 1 small garlic clove, minced
  • 4 large plum tomatoes (about 1 lb), sliced (to yield 2 c)
  • 3/4 tsp kosher salt (or to taste)

Directions
  • Step #1 Combine all the ingredients in a bowl.
  • Step #2 If you prefer a smoother texture -- more like jarred -- pulse half the salsa in a food processor/blender, then mix it with the remaining chunky half.
  • Step #3 Cover up tightly & put in the fridge for up to 5 days.
