Cinnamon Pudding Cake Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 c all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 c apple - peeled, cored & sliced
  • 3 tsps ground cinnamon
  • 1 3/4 c packed brown sugar

  • 1 c milk
  • 1 1/2 c water
  • 2 tbsps butter
  • 1 c white sugar
  • 1/2 c sliced walnuts
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tsps baking powder

Directions
  • Step #1 Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Step #2 Grease the bottom of a 9 inch square baking dish.
  • Step #3 In a large bowl, sugar, mix together the flour, baking powder, salt & cinnamon.
  • Step #4 Make a well in the center & pour in the milk.
  • Step #5 Mix well & pour this into prepared pan.
  • Step #6 In a saucepan, mix brown sugar, water & butter.
  • Step #7 Bring to a boil & pour over batter in the pan.
  • Step #8 Sprinkle top top this with nuts & sliced apples.
  • Step #9 Bake in the preheated oven for 35 to 40 mins, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.
  • Step #10 Serve warm.
