Grilled Flat Bread Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 package (about 1 lb) put in the fridged pizza dough
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 2 tbsps fresh thyme leaves
  •  Flour for work surface
  • 1/2 tsps black pepper
  • 2 tbsps plus 2 tsps olive oil

Directions
  • Step #1 Heat grill to medium.
  • Step #2 Divide the dough into 2 equal portions.
  • Step #3 Roll each portion into a rectangle approximately 1/4 inch thick.
  • Step #4 Brush one side of each rectangle with 1/2 tbsp of oil & season this with 1/4 tsp of the salt & 1/4 tsp of the pepper.
  • Step #5 Transfer the dough to the grill, oiled-side down.
  • Step #6 Close the cover.
  • Step #7 Cook until the dough begins to bubble on the top, about 3 mins.
  • Step #8 Working quickly, brush each rectangle with 1/2 tbsp of oil & season this with the remaining salt & pepper.
  • Step #9 Turn & cook this until golden & crisp on the bottom, 2 to 3 mins more.
  • Step #10 Brush each piece of flat bread with the remaining oil & sprinkle with the thyme.
  • Step #11 Cut into pieces.
