Ingredients
1 1/2 c frozen white shoepeg corn, thawed
1/4 c butter or margarine, melted
1 large egg
1/2 c all-purpose flour
1 1/2 c milk
2 tbsps sugar
3/4 tsp salt
2 1/2 tsps baking powder
1 1/2 c cornmeal
Directions
Step #1 Stir together first 5 ingredients In a large-ish bowl.
Step #2 Stir together egg & next 3 ingredients; add to cornmeal mixture, stirring just until dry ingredients are moistened.
Step #3 Bake in a preheated, oiled waffle iron just until crisp.
