Cinnamon Logs Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/2 c powdered sugar
  • 1 c sugar
  • 1 egg white
  • 1 (16-oz) loaf thinly sliced white bread
  • 1 (8-oz) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 c butter or margarine, melted

Directions
  • Step #1 Trim crusts from bread slices.
  • Step #2 Roll slices to 1/4-inch thickness.
  • Step #3 Beat cream cheese, egg white, & powdered sugar at medium speed with an electric mixer until smooth.
  • Step #4 Spread evenly on 1 side of each bread slice.
  • Step #5 Roll up, forming logs.
  • Step #6 Stir together granulated sugar & cinnamon in a shallow dish.
  • Step #7 Dip logs in melted butter, & roll in sugar mixture.
  • Step #8 Place on lightly greased baking sheets.
  • Step #9 Bake logs at 350° for 15 mins.
  • Step #10 Remove to wire racks to cool.
  • Step #11 Note: We used Pepperidge Farm very thin sliced white bread.
