Layered Cookie Bars Recipe

Ingredients

1/4 c sugar .
6 tbsps cocoa powder .
1 c semi-sweet chocolate chips .
1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk .
1 3/4 c vanilla wafer crumbs .
1 c sliced walnuts .
3/4 c butter (1 1/2 sticks) .
3/4 c Skor English toffee bits

Directions

Step #1 Preheat oven to 350°F.
Step #2 Melt butter in 13"x9"x2" baking pan in oven.
Step #3 Combine crumbs, cocoa, & sugar; sprinkle it over butter.
Step #4 Pour sweetened condensed milk evenly on top of crumbs.
Step #5 Top with chocolate chips & toffee bits, then nuts; press down firmly.
Step #6 Bake until lightly browned (25-30 mins).
Step #7 Cool completely in pan.
Step #8 Cut into bars (will be easier to cut if chilled first).
Step #9 Store covered at about room temp.
