Cinnamon Rollsi Recipe

Ingredients
  • 3 tbsps milk
  • 1 c milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 3/4 c raisins (optional)
  • 3/4 c white sugar
  •  
  • 3/4 c sliced walnuts (optional)
  • 1 c water
  • 2 c confectioners' sugar
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 tbsps butter, melted
  • 1 1/2 tsps ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 c white sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsps salt
  • 6 c all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 tbsps active dry yeast
  • 1/4 c butter
  • 1/3 c butter, softened

Directions
  • Step #1 In saucepan, heat 1 c milk, water, & 1/4 c butter until very warm (butter doesn't need to be completely melted).
  • Step #2 Place milk mixture, salt, yeast, flour, sugar, & eggs in the pan of the bread machine in the order suggested by the manufacturer.
  • Step #3 Select the Dough cycle.
  • Step #4 Press Start.
  • Step #5 Once Dough cycle is complete, remove the dough from the bread machine.
  • Step #6 Punch down, & divide into 2 parts.
  • Step #7 On a floured surface, roll each part into a large rectangle.
  • Step #8 Smear each rectangle with the softened butter.
  • Step #9 Combine the cinnamon & 3/4 c sugar.
  • Step #10 Sprinkle top over the rectangles.
  • Step #11 Generously sprinkle the raisins and/or sliced nuts over the top.
  • Step #12 Roll the dough up into two logs starting at the long side.
  • Step #13 Cut each log into 12 slices.
  • Step #14 Place the rolls cut side down into two 9x13 inch greased baking pans.
  • Step #15 Cover, & let rise in a warm place until almost doubled (about 30 mins).
  • Step #16 Bake in a preheated 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) oven for 20 to 25 mins, or until golden.
  • Step #17 Combine the confectioners' sugar, vanilla, 3 tbsps melted butter, & 3 tbsps milk.
  • Step #18 Frosting should be thick.
  • Step #19 Spread over baked rolls & enjoy.
