Wolfgang's Garlic Bread Recipe

Ingredients

1/2 c basil leaves, roughly sliced .
grated mozzarella cheese .
3/4 c extra-virgin olive oil .
1 loaf bread .
grated parmesan cheese .
1 sprig rosemary, stripped & sliced (small) .
10-15 garlic cloves, peeled & sliced .
1 pinch crushed red pepper flakes .
salt .
2 medium sage leaves, roughly sliced

Directions

Step #1 Preheat the oven to 500 degrees.
Step #2 In a mixer, rosemary, sage, mix the garlic, basil, chili flakes & a pinch of salt.
Step #3 Puree.
Step #4 With the mixer running, slowly drizzle in the olive oil.
Step #5 Slice the bread into 1/2 inch thick slices & place on a cookie sheet.
Step #6 Brush with the garlic pesto.
Step #7 Sprinkle top with Parmesan & mozzarella, if desired.
Step #8 Bake on the upper rack until golden brown & bubbly, about 5 to 7 mins.
