Cinnamon Popcorn Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 c margarine
  • 8 quarts popped popcorn
  • 1 tsp cinnamon oil
  • 1 drop red food coloring
  • 1/2 c white corn syrup
  • 1 tsp salt

Directions
  • Step #1 Preheat oven to 200 degrees F (93 degrees C).
  • Step #2 In a medium saucepan over med-heat/flame, mix corn syrup, margarine & salt.
  • Step #3 Heat to 242 to 248 degrees F (116 to 120 degrees C), or until a small amount of syrup dropped into cold water forms a firm but pliable ball.
  • Step #4 Remove from heat & stir in the food coloring, cinnamon oil & baking soda.
  • Step #5 Pour over popcorn; toss to coat.
  • Step #6 Place popcorn on baking sheet & into preheated oven.
  • Step #7 Bake 1 hr, stirring every 15 mins.
