Deer Meat Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 onions, sliced
  • 1 1/2 lbs venison (deer meat)
  • 1 tsp all-purpose flour
  • 1 c sour cream
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 3 tbsps butter
  • 4 c fresh mushrooms, sliced
  • 1/8 tsp dried parsley
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 (6 oz) can tomato paste
  • 1 pinch mustard powder

Directions
  • Step #1 Heat butter or margarine in a large skillet over med-heat/flame.
  • Step #2 Add onions & saute until translucent; then add meat & saute until browned.
  • Step #3 When meat is lightly browned, garlic, tomato paste, salt, flour, add mushrooms, sour cream, mustard powder & parsley.
  • Step #4 Stir together, reduce heat to low & let simmer for 20 to 30 mins.
  • Step #5 The longer it simmers, the more tender the meat will be.
