Christmas Bubble Ring Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/4 c maraschino cherries, halved
  • 2 tsps ground cinnamon
  • 1 (1 lb) loaf frozen bread dough, thawed
  • 1/2 c butter or margarine
  • 1/2 c sliced pecans
  • 1/2 c packed brown sugar

Directions
  • Step #1 In a saucepan, mix butter, brown sugar & cinnamon; cook & stir over low heat/flame until sugar is dissolved.
  • Step #2 Cool.
  • Step #3 Cut dough into 1-in.
  • Step #4 pieces.
  • Step #5 Spread a fourth of the syrup mixture over the bottom of a greased 10-in.
  • Step #6 tube pan.
  • Step #7 Sprinkle top with half of the pecans & cherries & a third of the dough.
  • Step #8 Repeat layers once.
  • Step #9 top this with half of the remaining syrup & remaining dough; drizzle with remaining syrup.
  • Step #10 Cover with greased plastic wrap.
  • Step #11 Refrigerate overnight.
  • Step #12 Remove from the refrigerator 30 mins before baking.
  • Step #13 Remove plastic wrap.
  • Step #14 Bake at 375 degrees F for 35-40 mins.
  • Step #15 Immediately invert bread onto a serving platter.
  • Step #16 Serve warm.
