Ingredients
  • 1 (9 inch) unbaked pie shells .
  • 1 (9 inch) pie crusts .
  • 1/4 tsp salt .
  • 1 c brown sugar .
  • 1 c light corn syrup .
  • 1 1/2 tbsps butter .
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract .
  • 3 eggs, beaten .
  • 1 1/2-2 c pecans, shelled & toasted .
  • 2 tbsps flour

Directions
  • Step #1 Preheat oven: 325°.
  • Step #2 Allow butter to soften at about room temp.
  • Step #3 Mix sugar & flour.
  • Step #4 Cream butter with sugar & flour mixture.
  • Step #5 Add corn syrup & eggs; beat with mixer until frothy.
  • Step #6 Add salt, vanilla, & pecans.
  • Step #7 Pour into unbaked pie shell.
  • Step #8 Bake 45 mins at 325°.
  • Step #9 Serve with the freshest caramel ice cream you can find.
