• 3 tbsps vegetable oil .
• 1 tsp baking soda .
• 1 c cold water .
• 1 1/2 c flour .
• 3 tbsps unsweetened cocoa powder .
• 1 tsp vanilla .
• 1 tbsp white vinegar .
• 1/2 tsp salt .
• 1 c sugar

• Step #1 Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
• Step #2 Sift the flour, sugar, baking soda, cocoa, & salt into an ungreased 8X8 glass baking dish.
• Step #3 Make 3 depressions in the dry ingredients.
• Step #4 Pour oil into one, vinegar into one, & vanilla into one.
• Step #5 Pour water over all & mix thoroughly with a fork to moisten all dry ingredients.
• Step #6 Bake for 30 mins, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
• Step #7 sprinkle with powdered sugar or ice.
