Chicken Spring Rolls Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 dash Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 dash soy sauce
  • 1/2 c finely shredded cabbage
  • 1 (14 oz) package spring roll wrappers
  • 1 dash hot pepper sauce
  • 1 small onion, grated
  • 1 small carrot, grated
  • 1/4 c barbeque sauce
  • 1 quart oil for deep frying
  • 2 (10 oz) cans chunk chicken, drained & flaked

Directions
  • Step #1 Heat oil in a deep-fryer or large, heavy saucepan to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  • Step #2 In a medium bowl, cabbage, barbeque sauce, mix together chicken, onion, hot pepper sauce, carrot, soy sauce & Worcestershire sauce.
  • Step #3 Place approximately 1 tbsp of the chicken mixture in the center of spring roll wrappers.
  • Step #4 Moisten fingers with water, & wet the edges of the wrappers.
  • Step #5 Roll around the filling.
  • Step #6 Press seams to seal.
  • Step #7 In small batches, deep fry the spring rolls 3 to 5 mins, or until golden brown.
  • Step #8 Drain on paper towels.
