Ingredients
3 c cabbage, shredded .
1 (15 oz) can French style green beans, drained .
1/2 lb bacon .
1/4 c onions, sliced .
1/2 c sugar .
2/3 c white vinegar .
1/4 tsp black pepper .
1 tsp salt
Directions
Step #1 Fry bacon until crisp In a large-ish fry pan or electric skillet & remove bacon.
Step #2 Leave drippings in pan & add vinegar, sugar, salt, onions, pepper, & cabbage; simmer covered 15 mins.
Step #3 Crumble bacon & add to cabbage, along with beans, & mix well.
Step #4 Heat through before serving.
