Chicken Balsamic Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/3 c balsamic vinegar .
  • 1/2 c chicken stock .
  • 3 tsps olive oil .
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed .
  • 1 tsp dried Italian spices (oregano, thyme, basil) .
  • 2 tbsps sugar (I use Splenda) .
  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts

Directions
  • Step #1 Put chicken in a shallow bowl.
  • Step #2 Combine the vinegar, chicken stock, sugar, garlic & seasoning in small bowl; pour over chicken.
  • Step #3 Allow chicken to marinate 10 mins on each side.
  • Step #4 Remove chicken & set marinade aside.
  • Step #5 Briefly heat the oil In a large-ish skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Step #6 Add the marinated chicken breasts.
  • Step #7 Cook each chicken breast 4 mins each side (or until done).
  • Step #8 Add the marinade to the skillet & continue cooking for an extra 3-4 mins while turning the chicken breasts until they are coked through.
