Linguine Arrabbiata Recipe

Ingredients
  • coarse salt .
  • 3 garlic cloves, thinly sliced .
  • 1 (8 oz) can tomato sauce .
  • 2 tbsps olive oil .
  • 3/4 tsp red pepper flakes .
  • grated parmesan cheese, for serving .
  • 1/2 c dry white wine .
  • 1 lb linguine .
  • 1 (28 oz) can whole peeled tomatoes with juice, cut into chunks

Directions
  • Step #1 In a large skillet heat oil over medium-high heat.
  • Step #2 Add garlic & red pepper flakes; cook this until garlic is just beginning to brown, careful not to burn.
  • Step #3 Add tomatoes, tomato sauce & wine.
  • Step #4 Simmer over med-heat/flame, stirring every once in awhile until slightly thickened, 8 to 10 mins.
  • Step #5 Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil & cook pasta for less than 2 mins per package instructions for al dente.
  • Step #6 Drain & add pasta to sauce.
  • Step #7 Serve with grated cheese.
