Step #1 Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Step #2 Grease & flour a 10 inch Bundt pan.
Step #3 In a large bowl, stir this together cake mix & pudding mix.
Step #4 Make a well in the center & pour in sour cream, eggs, water & oil.
Step #5 Beat on lowish speed until mixed.
Step #6 Scrape bowl, & beat 4 mins on medium speed.
Step #7 Stir in chocolate chips.
Step #8 Pour batter into prepared pan.
Step #9 Bake in the preheated oven for 45 to 50 mins, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.
Step #10 Let cool in pan for 10 mins, then turn out onto a serving plate.
Step #11 Serve warm.
Step #12 Alternate cooking directions: Pour batter into a 5 quart slow cooker that has been coated with non stick cooking spray.
Step #13 Cover & cook on low for 6 hrs.
Step #14 Spoon into individual dishes.
