No Knead Potato Refrigerator Rolls
Ingredients
3 tbsps soy sauce .
1 small onion, sliced (optional) .
1 tsp garlic powder .
1 tsp salt .
1 lb of shredded coleslaw mix .
2 lbs ground meat (turkey, beef, or pork -not sausage) .
1 beaten egg (for wrapping) .
2 (1 lb) packages egg roll wraps (I find them in the cooler section near the tofu) .
1 tsp sugar
Directions
Step #1 Thoroughly cook ground meat & drain.
Step #2 Combine coleslaw mix, sugar, salt, garlic powder, soy sauce, & cooked meat In a large-ish bowl.
Step #3 Mix well.
Step #4 Lay an egg roll wrap in front of you so it is turned like a diamond.
Step #5 Put 2 tbsps of the filling in the center.
Step #6 (Spread the filling out but do not get it too close to the edges.
Step #7 ).
Step #8 Fold bottom point up over filling & roll once.
Step #9 Fold the left & right points over.
Step #10 Brush beaten egg on the top point.
Step #11 Roll the wrap the rest of the way, tightly.
Step #12 Repeat with remaining wraps & filling.
Step #13 Heat 2-3 inches oil in large frying pan on a med.
Step #14 low heat.
Step #15 (350 °F).
Step #16 Place a few egg rolls in the pan & cook for 2-3 mins on each side.
Step #17 Drain finished egg rolls on paper towels.
Step #18 We serve ours with our favorite dipping sauces.
