Cheese-stuffed Pecans Recipe

Ingredients
  • 40 large pecan halves, toasted .
  • 3 tbsps sour cream .
  • 1 c finely shredded gouda cheese (4 oz)

Directions
  • Step #1 Toast the pecans in a 325*F.
  • Step #2 oven for 10 mins, then let cool.
  • Step #3 Bring shredded cheese to about room temp in a medium mixing bowl (allow 30 to 60 mins).
  • Step #4 Add sour cream.
  • Step #5 Beat with an electric mixer until mixd & mixture is creamy.
  • Step #6 Using a scant tsp for each, pipe or mound cheese mixture onto the flat side of half of the pecans.
  • Step #7 Top with remaining pecans, flat side down.
  • Step #8 Serves 10.
  • Step #9 Tip: To pipe the Gouda mixture onto the pecans, spoon the mixture into a self-sealing plastic bag & snip off a corner.
