Ingredients
  • garlic powder .
  • 2 (5 lb) beef brisket (totaling about 10 lbs.) .
  • lawrey's seasoning salt .
  • pepper

Directions
  • Step #1 preheat your trusty oven to 275 degrees fahrenheit.
  • Step #2 Place briskets in pan fat side up in foil wraped pan.
  • Step #3 Do NOT add water.
  • Step #4 Sprinkle top with garlic, pepper & salt.
  • Step #5 Cover up & cook for 6 hrs.
  • Step #6 Uncover for last hr of the cooking time.
  • Step #7 It makes its own gravy.
  • Step #8 If you think you will need more gravy, you can add a little water to the pan drippings & flavor with boullion, garlic & pepper.
  • Step #9 Before slicing, scrape the fat layer off the top of the meat.
  • Step #10 Cut against the grain of the meat.
