Corn Bacon Chowder Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 (10 oz) can canned whole kernel corn
  • 2 (10.75 oz) cans condensed cream of potato soup
  • 1 c salt & black pepper to taste
  • 1 lb sliced bacon
  • 2 (10.75 oz) cans condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/4 tsp curry powder, optional
  • 2 1/2 lbs potatoes, peeled & cubed
  • 2 c whole milk, or as needed

Directions
  • Step #1 Place potatoes in a large pot with enough water to cover.
  • Step #2 Bring to a boil, & cook this until tender, about 10 mins; drain.
  • Step #3 Meanwhile, place bacon in a large deep skillet.
  • Step #4 Cook over medium-high heat until evenly browned.
  • Step #5 Drain, crumble, & set aside until potatoes are done.
  • Step #6 Add the bacon, potato soup, & curry powder to the potato pot, corn, milk, mushroom soup, & let simmer over med-heat/flame at least 15 mins, stirring often.
  • Step #7 Spice up to taste with salt & pepper, & serve.
