Corn Balls Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 c sliced celery
  • 1/2 c butter, melted
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 c water or chicken broth
  • 10 c soft bread cubes
  • 1/2 c sliced onion
  • 1 (11 oz) can cream-style corn

Directions
  • Step #1 Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Step #2 Heat a saucepan over medium-high heat & coat with cooking spray.
  • Step #3 Add the celery & onion.
  • Step #4 Cook & stir until tender.
  • Step #5 Reduce the heat to medium & mix in the cream-style corn, water & salt.
  • Step #6 Remove from the heat & stir in the the eggs & bread cubes.
  • Step #7 Form into balls about the size of baseballs, & place them on a cookie sheet.
  • Step #8 Brush melted butter onto the balls.
  • Step #9 Bake for 15 mins in the preheated oven, or until heated through & the outside is lightly toasted.
