Grantineed Eggs (kitchen Buffet Brunch) Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 medium red onion, sliced .
  • 1 lb sweet Italian sausage or hot Italian sausage, casings removed .
  • 1/2 tsp salt .
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano leaves, crumbled .
  • 12 eggs, beaten .
  • 1/2 tsp fresh ground pepper .
  • 2 medium tomatoes, peeled & sliced .
  • 1 tbsp butter .
  • 8 mushrooms, sliced .
  • 1 c milk .
  • 8 oz mozzarella cheese, shredded

Directions
  • Step #1 Preheat oven to 400°F.
  • Step #2 Generously grease large oven proof skillet or large shallow baking dish; set aside.
  • Step #3 Crumble sausage into skillet & fry over medium high heat, stirring constantly, until sausage is no longer pink; drain well & transfer to bowl.
  • Step #4 Wipe out skillet.
  • Step #5 Add butter & melt over med-heat/flame.
  • Step #6 Add mushrooms & onion & sauté until onion is soft but not brown.
  • Step #7 Stir into sausage.
  • Step #8 Blend in remaining ingredients, mixing thoroughly.
  • Step #9 Turn into prepared dish.
  • Step #10 Bake until knife inserted in center comes out clean, about 30 to 34 mins.
